Have you noticed!

...that I have been blogging a lot more lately!

It's because I finally figured out that I can post date my posts! haha
I only like posting if I have cute photos to post about, however, I hated downloading my photos onto my computer. The plug for my phone {my current camera} no longer works so I have to power off my phone, take out the battery and put my SIM card into a little converter thing and then into my computer to load them. It's not that it's hard, it's just annoying.
So, when I feel like it, I load all my photos onto my computer then go through them and then make several posts at once and post date them so that they will magically appear on random days.
I love catching up on friends and families blogs but feel bad that mine is rarely updated. This way, I get in a good 2 or 3 posts a week and that makes me happy!
{watch, now that I've said that 'i'm posting more'...I won't ;)}

One thing I can't live without!

Now, if I had my camera (as noted a few posts back) then there would be 2 {non-people} things that I cannot live without. But for now, there is just 1. I don't care about my TV or my PS3 or my Wii or my phone......I need my computer!
I am on this thing DAILY! I had a laptop a very long time ago that I purchased while I still lived at my parents house but then soon after found that I just didn't like it. Maybe it was the fact that I just bought one, not having a clue what I was looking for. It shut down at random times and the battery never lasted very long. I sold it and vowed to never have a laptop again. Since then, I have always used a desktop. I used one up until about a year and a half ago when it started acting funny on me. I was working from home at that time and did not want to not be able to work. I backed up all of the stuff on my desktop and went out that weekend and bought this laptop. I figured that I would try one out again and see how I liked it because it would be so much easier to work anywhere in my house, or anywhere for that matter, and to be able to keep a better eye on Jase.
It is an ASUS. We (husband and I) chose this one because it was a 'Gamers' computer. Husband figured that it would be easier to lug this thing around to his net parties rather than his desktop so we got this one. I liked it b/c it has 5 gigs of something ;) To me, that meant that it had lots of space for my photos!
Monday when I tried to turn on my desktop for work {I hadn't yet loaded all my work stuff onto my laptop} it wouldn't turn on. Nothing would make it work [I later found out from my fabulous BIL that it would never work again]. Thank goodness I had bought this laptop! It was hard to get used to...the windows program was different and the keyboard was FLAT, the battery doesn't last terribly wrong....
.............but, I absolutely love this thing! Granted, it is heavy and the battery is freaking huge, but, nonetheless, it is my baby and I couldn't live without it! It is super fast, has a FLAT keyboard {yes, this became one of my favorite things}, has a HUGE scream and can hold anything and everything I need it too {including several of husbands nerd games}.
And after using it for a year and a half, I don't think I'll ever go back to a desktop.
Just thought I'd share!

Chunk's Sleepover!

Since I cannot have one of my parents puppies, I decided that I at least needed extra snuggle time! My baby Chunk (my favorite) came and had a sleepover last weekend! It was so much fun! He had his first car ride with me over to our house. He did pretty well {and don't worry, I only took pics while I was stopped at a light!} Harley wasn't sure at first how to react to Chunk. He wouldn't leave him alone though! He would stand in front of Chunk or over him and Chunk would just lay down each time Harley did that. Harley just needed to show him who was boss in his house! They did really well together though and within a few hours, Chunk would actually walk up to Harley and stand right in front off him. Chunk liked to lay under the table where I have my laptop. Harley would come over every now and then to check on him but would usually lay across the room but within view of him in case he moved! They ate each others food, not their own and we had them sleep in separate rooms so that we could actually get sleep ;) Chunk only had 1 accident the entire time he was here! Harley was glad to see him go, though! Love you mama's Chunkers!!!

11 Years

11 years ago today I was in a car accident with 3 of my very best friends. Ben and I survived. My Josh and Crystal did not. I will always remember them and have a special place in my heart for them and their families. Ben, thank you. I credit my life to you and your bravery.
Josh & Crystal, miss you like crazy.

The Girls

I have the sweetest cousins in the world and just wanted everyone to know that!
They are known to all of us as "The Girls". Emily Sea aka 'Em-C' (19 today!) and Sarah aka 'Shrebe' (16).
I used to babysit them when they were itty bitty and to me, they will always be 2 and 4 years old! I have had the pleasure of watching these two sweet girls grow up into gorgeously fabulous teens! They are so polite and are just crazy fun to be with!
They come over every now and then just to hang out! I guess I'm just a boring cousin though, because they always seem to gravitate to Matthew and whatever he is doing ;) Matthew loves these girls like crazy and likes to brag about them! Jase loves it when Emwee comes over to babysit too! He always has such a great time with her!
If ever we have a little girl of our own, I would want nothing more than for her to grow up to be just like them!

Every Christmas, Matthew takes a picture with the girls. It's fun to see them grow!

2007 (just noticed that in 2006 Sarah reached just under Matthew's shoulder and this year she was taller than his shoulder! Not sure if shoes played a part in this, but still!)

Love you girls and happy birthday Emily Sea Chapman the Ocean!!!!!!

Aquarium!

Jase, Emily (my cousin) and I met up with my girlfriend Jenny and her little bug Sienna at the aquarium last Friday! It was so much fun to catch up with her and the kids had a ton of fun!
This photo really was the only time they were in the same place at the same time!
They were running all over the place but both of them have a favorite for sure....the froggies!!
Thanks for the play date!

Guinness World Record

Matthew's work, Clearlink, decided that they wanted to set a world record for the most snowmen built in an hour!!! We met up at the Mountain Dell Golf Course (which is on the way to Park City) and got building! There were over 300 people there (employees, family and friends). The goal was to get over 1,000 snowmen built. It was so much fun!
The final count..........1,279!! We are happy to say that we were involved in such a fun record-breaking event!! Thanks Clearlink!

Just an update

I have had several people call to check up on me so I just wanted to let everyone (or at least everyone who reads this blog) know that I'm doing good! The stupid air that was put into my tummy for my surgery is now all gone and I can finally breathe normally without having pain in my ribs and shoulders!
I have a follow up appointment with the Dr on the 20th where he will hopefully walk me through my surgery and will hopefully have the results from the {for lack of a better word} thing he took out.
I will keep you all posted after my appointment.
That's all for now!
xoxo

I got to snuggle with 9 little puppies after my surgery so that made me feel better ;)

Gotta have it!

I so badly want a new camera....well, a camera period! I haven't had a camera for a really long time! Luckily, my phone takes pretty decent photos, however, when I want to take those super quick, capture the moment photos, it's really crappy. I get so frustrated when I think I get the perfect shot but it's too dark or blurry. It drives me nuts!
I have had my eye on this bad boy for a while now!
The Digital Cannon Rebel XTi
I would be the happiest mom, wifa and auntie in the world! I love taking pictures of my family and nieces and nephews and having a camera that took great ones would just be fabulous! I love it when I'm with my SIL Jessica b/c she has a camera very similar to this one and I like taking over for her to snap pics of her and her cute kids when we are out on play dates. It makes me feel like a professional when I have it in my hand and makes me feel, well, it's cheesy, but it makes me feel great and like I sorta have an idea of what I'm doing! I have plans to take some photography classes once I get one of these things and I feel like it's something that I would love doing as a hobby for myself, friends and family! I've wanted to do it for a very long time but these things are expensive!!
I am hopeful of the opportunity of a new job in the near future and if it happens, after Matthew gets his TV or Computer (he hasn't decided what he wants first) then I will get my camera! {yes, he gets his toy first b/c he's been working for the past 3 months and I haven't!}
I am counting down the days!!!
Isn't she beautiful!!!!

Moving things along

Get ready for some details!!

So, February will mark 2 years for Matthew and I trying to add to our family. It has been a huge struggle for us but we are ever so hopeful that a baby will come for us when he/she is ready to. {Oma and Opa, it's time for you to send me my baby! You've had enough time with him!!! Please!}
I finally got a new doctor last August and had to track my cycles and such for him and then had to wait until Matthew's new insurance kicked in before I could see him again. I went in for an appt on 12/27 and he said that my ovaries and eggs are doing everything that they should be doing (as are Matthew's little guys according to the test he took last fall), so the next step was to go inside of me to check things out.
On Tueday, 1/4, I had a laparoscopy and chromotubation. The chromotubation is where they squirt colored dye through your fallopian tubes to see if there are any leaks or blockage which there was none so that's good. With the laparoscopy, they put me under and made an incision in my belly button and pumped some air into my tummy to move my organs off of my uterus so that they could get to it. This was to check and see if there was any Endometreosis. They did find some and were able to scrape the cysts off. There was also one that was larger than the rest that was sort of hanging from my tube and kind of, i guess sucked into it somewhat......can't really remember what my mom described to me as I was sleepy but she said that the photo of it looked like an egg shaped cocoon. The dr. said that it could possibly have been an ectopic pregnancy. If a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, it's called an ectopic pregnancy. One in 50 pregnancies ends this way.
Here's how it happens: After conception, the fertilized egg travels down your fallopian tube on its way to your uterus. If the tube is damaged or blocked and fails to propel the egg toward your womb, the egg may become implanted in the tube and continue to develop there. Because almost all ectopic pregnancies occur in one of the fallopian tubes, they're often called "tubal" pregnancies.
We won't know for sure if that was what it was until the dr. gets the results back from the lab he is sending it to which will be in a couple of weeks. Usually, an ectopic pregnancy will just absorb into your body but if this was what it was, it didn't which is probably why I was experiencing pains and not able to get pregnant (again).
After my surgery, I went back to my moms so she could take care of me. Jase was at my sisters and Matthew was at work. My stomach doesn't hurt at all (most likely from the percocet) but the air that they filled me with is still in there, some of it anyways, and that is causing me discomfort. My shoulders and rib cage is where the air is going and it hurts if I'm in the wrong position. Jase is being such a sweet little bug though! I showed him where they cut me and told him that he has to be so soft with mama so he has been and has also been getting me crackers and water and letting Harley outside so I don't have to get up as often ;)
We are hopeful that having cleared the endometriosis (for now) will help us to conceive. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!!

Holiday Fun!

We had such an AWESOME Christmas this year!!! We had breakfast with Santa on the 11th at Matthew's work. The second Jase saw him, he ran straight up to him and gave him this huge hug! He was so excited!! He went back several times just to stand by him and sit on his lap!

My baby Rylie finally came to meet her Auntie Jenny on the 21st! I am just in love with this little muffin chops! She is the sweetest thing ever! Her mommy, Jess, and her bro and sis Brayden and Avery came as well! We had so much fun seeing them everyday and getting to know these new additions to our fabulous family! (please ignore the giant zit on my chin!)

Jase loved her too!

We spent the 23rd at Grammy and Grandy's for the Browning/Telford party! We had lots of nummy food and the Telford boys even put on a little talent show dance for us!! All of us got new comfy cozy robes! Once Jase realized that the boy from Polar Express had one just like it, he wouldn't take it off and even slept in it!

Christmas Eve was spent with my family, as usual ;) Jeffrey was finally able to get here so that made it extra special! We opened gifts and then the Schippers family (my mom's side) came over for Oma's Meatball soup and lots of other goodies! With family piled everywhere, a chocolate fountain and soup upstairs, 9 sweet puppies and Michael Jackson dancing on the Wii downstairs, we had a blast!

Christmas morning we woke up and the first thing Jase saw under the tree were his monster trucks! We had to stop him and point him towards the awesome new shiny bike and scooter sitting right next to him! He wasn't really interested in those! He was all for the small toys he got ;) Lesson learned for next year!!! He lined up his toys as he opened them but couldn't wait to try on his 'repulser blast' hand from iron man!

Once we got dressed, we headed over to Grammy's for an orange roll breakfast! We gave them their gifts and exchanged sibling gifts as well!

Randa drew my name and when she called me for ideas, I told her that I wanted jewelry. She asked if I wanted something simple and I said no, big and gaudy! Oh Pirate Treasure, she said! Absolutely!! She done good :) I love my new accessories!!!! I thought I ordered the large cappuccino!

Our family on Xmas morning!

Xmas afternoon we visited my grandparents. It was nice to see family that we usually only see during the holidays. Grandma...please make a note for next year...we really missed the mac and potato salad...I'm sure you just forgot so just remember for our next visit okay?!!!!

On the 26th, my Grandpa was able to bless baby Rylie! It was a very special moment and was so nice to share with just our immediate family. Rylie wore the blessing dress that I, her Godmother, wore when I was a baby! She looked simply beautiful and so peaceful! We love you Rylie Girl!

New Years.........not so exciting!! We didn't do anything during the day on New Years Eve. Jase was on day 3 of his Croup so we went to Auntie Rella's to get the twins nebulizer from her. She made us pasta for dinner (YUM!!) and then we went home to play Super Brother Mario (as Jase calls it) and then gave him a nebulizer treatment and then decided to put him to bed at 10:55. I went to bed right after as I was so exhausted from staying up with Jase for the past 2 nights. Matthew and Mitchell watched a movie and at midnight, husband came up and gave me a New Years kiss and then I went back to bed! I woke up the next morning feeling so refreshed and also realizing that both my baby and I slept through the entire night! No croup attacks! It was very nice! He still has a strain in his voice and coughs occasionally but no more croup! He was such a brave boy throughout the entire thing and did everything that 'auntie jessica' suggested that he do to make it feel better.

Jase and I spent New Years day at Kim's house. We had cake and Ice Cream for Jake's bday (the 31st) and then played Just Dance on the Wii! So fun! We stopped at the store and then at Oma's to visit the puppies on the way home and then watched a movie and ate dinner with Uncle Mitch.

Overall....BEST December Ever! It gets better and better as Jase gets older! Can't wait until next year!!!!

xoxoxo to all!

I love naked cowboys!
