It's Official!
Okay, I was going to post about this last week but didn't have the time so I am posting now and calling it official......my little boy is off the bottle! He will be 14 months old on July 23rd and has not had a bottle since Monday, July 7th! Our usual routine was to get jammies on, rock in the chair while feeding Jase a bottle and singing a song or 2, then putting him in bed and leaving and he would fall asleep. I had tried one day right after he turned 1 to just put him in bed without having had his bottle but he cried so I gave in. Well, I asked Matthew to put him to bed on said Monday and he had a bottle with him but decided not to give it to him. Instead, he just turned on Jase's music (since he doesn't sing to him) and rocked him for a few minutes and layed him in bed. He went right to sleep and hasn't had a baba since! I am so proud of my little man!

Don't mess with Jaxon!
I had to post about my sweet little nephew, Jaxon! He is such a naughty little cutie! He makes this scrunched up face and I just could NOT get enough of it this weekend! Matthew would make the face at him and growl and Jaxon would look at him and make the face right back! It is the cutest thing. Love you baby boy!

Island Park
We went up to Island Park, ID this past weekend to spend some time at the family cabin! It was so much fun! We left Friday morning and stopped in Idaho Falls to visit Grandpa and Gram. They had never met the babies before! We ate some KFC and other goodies and visited for a short time then continued our drive. It was not a long enough vacation! We had to leave on Sunday but wish we could have stayed there longer. It is just so relaxing to be up in the mountains. We didn't do a whole lot-it's hard to work a schedule around 3 babies that all sleep at different times but it was still worth the drive there and back to be able to spend some time with the family!

How Does She Do It?
Matthew, Mitch, Jessica, Jason, Zak & Cait all went to Lagoon on Saturday. I chose not to go because I didn't want to be in the sun all day long. I told Jessica that I would love to watch Jaxon & Jossy while they went. We had fun but boy was it hard! I took all 3 babies bowling with me. My mom and dad helped me with them so that I wouldn't have to miss out. They did pretty well. Jase & Joss sat in the stroller the whole time and we took turns holding Jax about half the time. They were very entertained with all that was going on around them. When we got home, the twins were asleep so I hurried and put Jase to bed and got lunch ready for the twins. We played around for a while and then the twins went down for another nap-that was pretty easy. Five minutes with each one and they were out. Piece of cake, Jess! I don't know what you're talking about! After dinner came we were playing around and Jaxon just started screaming out of the middle of nowhere! It lasted a few minutes and then would stop and then randomly start up again. Joss just chilled and watched Jase play. At one point, Jase came up to Jaxon while he was standing in front of me and gave him a hug. It was so cute. Once bedtime came, I put the twins in their carseats and gave them their bottles so I could do both at once. Then I put Jase in bed (he was the easy one) and spent an HOUR going back and forth from Joss to Jax trying to get them to sleep. I had them on different floors of the house so I was running around a lot. Once one of them seemed to be asleep the other started crying. I finally decided to let them cry it out. Joss only cried for about 30 seconds before falling asleep. Jaxon was crying for about 10 minutes but at that point, I didn't know what else to do. Once all 3 babies were sound asleep, Harley and I collapsed on the couch to read and sleep before everyone got home. What a day! That last hour just put me over the edge and I got stressed. I don't know how Jessica does it but I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and Jason and all that they do for those babies. Love you guys!!!!!

4th of July
I'm finally posting about the 4th! Been super busy lately :>
We went camping last weekend up in Fairview. It was way too hot and there were way too many mosquitoes (I don't even remember them being there last year) but we survived! We went up Friday morning and were planning on staying until Sunday but packed up on Saturday instead. Jase had fun playing in the dirt but wasn't doing to great with his naps. Harley went up with us too and he was such a good puppy! He was sad if his daddy wasn't right by his side, though. They both got soooo DiRtY!!! All in all it was lots of fun-I can't wait to go back next year!
