My feelings exactly....

I have had this photo on my computer for as long as I can remember. It is in my "babies" folder where I keep all the photos of my friends & families babies. This picture says it all.....I just absolutely love it.

I just wanted to post this beautiful picture of my mom and dad who mean so much to me! I know I've posted about them before (and not too long ago) but they really deserve daily posts for everything they do! I love them to pieces-they are always there for my family and me. Anytime of any day, I can call them and they are ready and happy to help us out in any way that they can! We're so lucky to have them!

Girls Night in Paradise!

My very best girlfriend, Keri, and I went to dinner tonight at Paradise Bakery & Cafe! It was really nummy and so much fun to get out and spend time with each other than just emailing or texting! It was much needed and I can't wait for next month! Love you girlie :>

So apparently cutting Jase's hair did me no good as he still pulled out the hair that was left on top. It looked really bad. I was almost in tears-I did not want to shave his whole head :( Matthew stood Jase on the counter and I shaved off what was left of it. He didn't mind the buzzers this time-guess it was because he was at home and his mama was doing it. He is still very handsome but I miss his hair already.......and so does he! He reaches for it constantly and when he can't find it, he throws both his arms down (even the hand that usually has it's thumb in his mouth). Maybe this will break his thumb sucking habit too! Everyone close to Jase knows that he grows more hair on the top of his head and the center of the back of his head more than the sides of his head. It is also much darker in those areas. This used to work just fine when I would spike Jase's hair until last Monday when Jase decided that it is more fun to PULL his hair OUT instead of just play with it (as he normally does). He would pull it only from the right side of his head and once that was gone he made his way into the back right side. I decided that I needed to go get him a haircut before he pulled it all out! Auntie Ceason gave Jase his first haircut but since she's in AZ, we opted for Cookie Cutters! We wanted to go for the Maddox Jolie-Pitt mohawk (per Daddy's request) and we went so far as to cut most of it in that style until we realized that Jase had gone too far with the pulling and it would have made the back part off-centered (hope that makes sense). So we just buzzed the sides and trimmed the top. Jase did not like the buzz clippers. He was shaking and crying, it was so sad :( The lady was awesome and did a great job though! She styled it like a mohawk-how we used to do his hair and Jase got a balloon-then he cheered up! Oma is very happy that we didn't come over with the Maddox cut-she likes spikes! He's so handsome! Matthew says it makes him look taller and like a big boy!!

I have to admit-it is easier to put stuff away if Jase neatly puts it into "his" basket instead of spreading it all over the floor!

My brother came in town to visit this last weekend. He hasn't been out since last year when Jase was born so it's been a while. He got to see how big Jase has gotten over the past year. Jase didn't want Jeffy to hold him-he was very tired so he was excused but the next day we hung out and he played with him and let him hold him! We went bowling with the whole family on Saturday after we took some family pics (thanks Amber!) and then we went to Chin Wah for lunch. That night, me, Matthew, Jeff and our friend Sara went out! We first went to a place called the Fiddlers Elbow. Sara loves their food and hadn't eaten yet so we went there. Then we went to Piper Down for an hour or two. Afterwards, we went to Sara's house and watched American Psycho (not my favorite movie for sure-just too wierd). Matthew and I did not get home until 4am!! I cannot even remember the last time we stayed out (or up) that late! We were exhausted the next day! Thankfully my cousin Emily was able to stay the night with Jase and helped us out in the morning.
