Blanda Halloween Party & Halloween Night!

Halloween is one of our most favorite holidays! We always dress up!! This year, I really wanted to be The Incredibles but just could not make the costume thing work out so we were The Three Musketeers instead! Our costumes were awesome! My mom made Jase's to match Matthew's exactly...except, hers looked sooo much better than the one we bought! haha

Every year, our great friends, the Blanda's, have a fantastic Halloween party and everyone comes in the best costumes! Matthew and I never hang out with each other at these things b/c he is always here and I'm always there and we are just constantly moving! Matthew was upstairs most the night but I was downstairs playing pool! I like taking pics of myself with everyone-that's why most of these are of me :)

On Halloween, we went to Kim's house with my parents. We had chili, rolls and salad for dinner. We all went Trick or Treating with the kids, with the exception of my mom as she didn't feel good (she stayed at the house and passed out the treats). Jase went treating last year but and had a lot of fun but I would have to say that this was my favorite Halloween ever! His little legs were running so fast to keep up with Zach (a 'bot' as Jase calls Transformers) and Aubrey (a fairy). It was like he remembered what they did last year and knew exactly what to do! He would run right up to the front door of the houses and would wait there until the people would open their doors and then he would turn around and run down the steps! HWe had to help him a few times and tell him that he needed to wait for his candy! He just didn't want the kids to leave without him! He said 'dates' (thanks) a few times and would even say 'suze-me' (excuse me) when he was trying to get past the crowds of kids. Towards the end, we would carry him from house to house but he would run up the driveway to the doors. He eventually pulled out a sucker and then wasn't too interrested in treating anymore. After we got back to the house, we ate our pumpkin pie (mmmmm) and played Beatles rock band!

Thanks for all the Halloween fun everyone!!

Outside Adventures!

Jase just LOVES being outside!! I get nervous sometimes letting him out back by himself but since I have my laptop, I will sit on the couch in front of the back door and leave it open and will let him run around outside with Harley. He gets so excited! He says "mama, mama, side!" Then he runs upstairs and grabs his hat and shoes and I will get him bundled up and out he goes! He mows the lawn and rides his bike and gathers rocks! I'm just waiting for the day when he brings me in bugs! EWE!

Mowing the lawn
He had just shown me all the rocks that he gathered in his little cup-he was so proud!
Just like Daddy! He's such a good helper!
Catchin' raindrops!
First snow of the season! He saw it and just HAD to go outside! Okay!
Running around with Harley Barley!

A busy week!

Our family!

We have had a very busy week but it has been so much fun! The three of us got to spend a lot of time together which, funny enough, isn't something that happens too often. Tuesday, Jase and I bust out the Potato Head bin and made a family of tatoes....then we dressed up as them as well! That same night, we had pulled out the Halloween costume bin and all 4 of us, yes, even Harley, tried on all of our wigs!! It was hilarious!!! I was craving cookie dough so Wednesday night, Jase & I made cookies. I had to run next door to grab some baking soda from the neighbor (since someone had spread it across my kitchen and living room floors the week prior) and Matthew took pics of Jase to show me how sad he was that I didn't take him with me. His face was so sad but he really loved helping me put in all the ingredients and put the scoops of dough on the baking sheet! Mmmm :) Thursday was Bunco night! Since it's October, we all dressed up! I borrowed my Mother-in-laws Raggedy Ann costume (since our family costumes haven't arrived in the mail yet) and won 3rd place for the best costume!! Thanks Mommy Deary! Friday night, we did nothing! Saturday morning started with laundry and then we went to Panda Express and Costco (and I totally forgot the diapers and wipes I went there for!! I'm so sure!). When I load up the car, I let Jase in the back and he climbs up to the front seat. Well, this time was no different except that he got to put the key in the ignition. I helped him turn it on, then he put on his seat belt and leaned forward to shift the gear! What a smarty pants! After going home for a couple of hours, we left and met Jess, Jason, Joss & Jax at Cornbelly's! It was a big fair-type thing with a corn maze, train (actually it was a cow train) ride and these slides that none of us could get enough of!! For the most part, Jason & I stayed up top and Jess & Matthew stayed at the bottom and once they sent the kids up, we would send them down! When we were about frozen (it got windy and chilly), Jason bought us all some hot chocolate, mmmm, and we warmed up by the bonfire and then left. The 3 of us met my mom and dad at the new Chin Wah! I love their food and when they were in their old building, they had such great service but we waited forever! It took 10 minutes before we got 2 of 4 glasses of water and 10 more before our waitress came around to take our order. After being there for an hour and 45 minutes, we left. At least the food is delicious!
Thanks to everyone for the fun fun day!!! We love you all!

You are my best friend and are always there for me when I need you! I enjoy spending time with you and don't think I'll ever go more than two days without speaking to you, at least over IM! haha You are a wonderful Mom and Oma and we just couldn't be luckier! Happy 50th!!

October 1st was Josselyn & Jaxon's 2nd Birthday!!! I cannot believe that they are getting so big!! We were invited to celebrate with them on the 3rd at Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. We had never taken Jase there and he had so much fun! Once Jason got him to be happy by trying on all the animal masks (Jase chose the pig) we went out and looked at all the animals. When we got over by the pig, Jase put his mask on and just stared at them!! He rode a pony and then rode a horse! He didn't even cry! I was so proud of him! Joss-a-mong (as Jase calls her) and Jase are such cute buddies! They were running around holding hands! We love you two!! Thanks for inviting us to your special day!

New hair and old friends!

I just love getting my hair done! I've done my hair dark before but told Makaylee to do it super dark this time and I love it!! She even curled it for me too, just for fun!
An old family friend, Ellen, was in town and went to visit my parents. I had dinner with them that night. I miss them all like crazy! I ended up getting to spend more time with them a couple days later. Ellen brought Terese & Eddie with her. I used to watch them when they were younger and they are just huge now! I cannot believe how big they have gotten! They're all grown up :) (We got photos of all of us together but my mom has them and hasnt' sent them to me yet....mom??) Dave didn't come down (I babysat for him from the ages of 11 or so to 16 or 17 and ended up hanging out with him-even when he didn't have his girls, Britt & Amanda-more than I was at my own house!) but it was a great time nonetheless. Love you guys! Can't wait to see you again!
Ellen and me!
Mamma and Jase bug!

What a ham!!!

This little man is so silly! Seriously, who wouldn't love this kid! I just want to squeeze him all the time, he's so cute! For the past couple of weeks, he has just done the darn cutest things that I just can't stop laughing! The other day, he had Buzz, Iron Man and GI Joe all lined up on the kitchen counter and was pointing at each of them: "Eyes, Eyes, Nose"! It was just adorable! Then GI Joe needed to be wearing his night vision goggles but Jase just could not get them to go over his eyes completely, so he's standing there trying to get it right saying "See-iously, See-iously (Seriously without the R)!!!!! Seriously, Jase! You are totally my child :) hehe

So....where's the baby? There he is! This is Jase's new spot. He takes the picture frames out and sets them on the floor and climbs up into our entertainment center! He has even gotten the perfect move down to get the door to close from the inside! He's so smart!
I just wanted to be alone and take a nap, mom!
Oh I love your face, Jase!
I have glasses. I have maybe worn them a dozen times since getting them two years (or more) ago. I pulled them out last week because I had been working so much that my eyes were killing me. Jase wanted to try them on and so he did. Doesn't he look adorable! They look like they were made for him!! hehe
I picked this up from Target......jealous?!!

So much to post...So little time!!!

I know, I am a slacker! I have been lazy with my posts but the past two weeks, I haven't been working any later than I need to and I shut my computer off for the rest of the night!
Jase is getting so big and is starting to talk so much more! We just love it and can't get enough of it.....for now ;)

Jase and I went with Jess, Jason & the twins to Oktoberfest! Jase loved the bounce house and the giant slide! He is so brave!! Thanks for letting us tag along guys!
Jase used the bottle opener to open the milk jug that he got out of the fridge. Then he poured it into his cup. Then he poured it back into the jug. What didn't make it in either, ended up on my counter and the floor. At least it was almost gone so it wasn't too bad :)
I don't remember what we were driving home from but he was tired and was totally stretched out and relaxed, ready to take his nap!
I took Jase to a free Little Gym tumbling class! He LoVeD it! He hung from the bars and walked the balance beam and did somersaults! I wish that all the tumbling places out here weren't so expensive so we could get him into a permanent class. Oh well.
Z for Jasers! I pulled out the Halloween decor and costumes and Jase immediately found this mask and played with it for the next 2 days. He thought it was so cool, especially when we showed him himself in the mirror!
