My baby is THREE!

I cannot believe that I have a 3 year old! We had a SUPERHERO party for him and it was so much fun! I made capes for the 3 of us as well as the kiddos that came to the party and we let everyone make a superhero mask of their own! We had a batman cake and super hero cupcakes which turned out fabulous if I do say so myself! I am becoming quite talented with decorating ;) On sunday, his actual birthday, he and I went and saw Iron Man 2. He loved it and really got into it! He ended up hanging out in the aisle way next to our seats and when the action scenes were going on he was punching and kicking the air and saying GO GO Iron Man! He is definitely ALL BOY!

Here are some fun facts about our little Jaser bug!
~He says Hoyt Hoyt every time he goes up and down the stairs {he learned this from Papa}
~He can count to 10....but not always in the right order!
~He loves to watch playhouse disney and has over 50 movies of his own! His favorites are Iron Man, Ponchtormers {transformers}, Back to the Future 3, and any Disney Pixar!
~He loves strawberry ice cream and strawberry milk
~He loves to eat popcorn
~His cutest quote: "Love ur face!!" {He says this while holding up 3 fingers-can't quite get the I love you sign down}
~He is great at matching colors and is getting better at identifying them
~Green is his favorite color
~He is becoming quite the pro at puzzles
~He can open any door in the house even with child proof locks on them, including the sliding back door. He learned the fridge lock the day after we installed it!
~He loves being outside and would stay out there all day if I let him.
~He loves being in just his underwear {and this is usually how I find him outside!}
~He says Tee Dee Dee Dee DEE Dee when anyone is nakey {it's a Browning thing}
~He will repeat the alphabet and the rainbow song with me but not on his own just yet
~He is obsessed with super heroes: Iron man, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Wolverine, Ninjas, GI Joe, Batman, Spider man, Superman and every other little action figure we possess!
~He loves trains, cars, helicopters and airplanes. Whenever he sees something flying in the air he says "mom, did you see it" or "mom, do you hear it"!
~He loves trucks. "Mom, daddy's truck, where'd it go, go find it" "mom, red ponchtormers truck" {everytime we see a freight/diesel truck}
~If you are sad {or pretending to be} he will wipe your tears and say "don't cry-don't be sad"
~He loves to give kisses. We have this new thing where we both go up or down the stairs and say WAIT and then the other turns around and we give kisses and then will turn around and yell WAIT again and then will give more kisses! We do this over and over again!
~He loves going to the aquarium to see the fishes, sharks and penguins and loves playing at the park.
~Jase has a new thing-he has come up with nicknames for the 4 of us and uses them more often than not! Daddy is Wolf, Mommy is Sheep, Harley is Cow and Jase is Monkey. Silly Boy!
~My favorite thing.....he will still suck his thumb when he's tired or bored and will play with my hair and tickle his face with it or any fuzzy that he can get a hold of! He has a fuzzy blankie and fuzzy monkey that Oma made him that he carries with him everywhere so that he can pull off the fuzzies to tickle his face with!
~Hello! Did I mention that my bug is pretty much potty trained?!! He has been doing SO well for the past 2 weeks with only a few accidents with not being fast enough to get his unders off! He wears big boys all day long-even during naps and during outings. Next up.....night time training!

This little man is my whole world and I couldn't be luckier to have him! He is so adventurous and independent but is the sweetest little bug! I could go on and on about him and all his cute quirks. He is such a special little man we just love him to pieces!
Love your face Jase!
Love, mommy

Jealous?

My mom and I couldn't pass up these great deals on purses! The grey one is mine, Kim got a burgundy one just like it and my mom got the purple one {but she's changing out the handle on it}. Aren't we just the fashionistas!
Loves it!!!

Celtic Woman

It is becoming a tradition for us to see Celtic Woman in concert when they come to Utah each year. We had a blast last year and this year was even funner because Kim and Shawn were able to come too! These ladies are such fabulous singers and the drummers are crazy good but I would have to say that my favorite is the violinist, Mairead. She is amazing!!!!! We weren't supposed to take photos during the concert but I snuck one in on my phone at the very end before they left the stage!

Can you tell we're related?!!

Happy Birthday Husband and Happy Mommys Day!

My hubby is now 27!!! This is my favorite number and I will be turning 27 in August so I have a feeling that this is our year!!! It's been crazy for now but things feel like they are finally falling into place for us! Here is what's been going on lately! Jase is growing like crazy and getting sassier everyday! He is talking up a storm. He is getting so imaginative! He doesn't just stand up all his 'guys' in a row anymore, he actually plays with them! Boy stuff, ya know ;) They fight and shoot guns both of which he does with his daddy all the time! Matthew is loving how ALL BOY our little man is! Harley is doing well. His hips/legs are still bothering him but all we can do at this point is give him some pain killers on the days when it seems bad (most days he is fine). We are going to take him to another vet for a diff opinion on what we should do to help him out. Matthew and I are doing good too. I am super busy at work all time and have found that I work at least 10 hours each day! It's all I can do to keep my sanity for the next days work! Matthew is steady at work and we just keep hoping that it stays that way! We are trying to refinance our house right now and are just waiting to hear back on if it can happen. We are still working on expanding our family-we are on month 15 and have our fingers crossed that this will be our month! If it works, we will have a February baby and that's what I wanted when we first started trying last year! Ya never know! Keep your fingers crossed for us! (Jenn & Randi-I'll be waiting for you phone calls since the last time you both had a 'feeling' for me, it was right!)!
So, May 10th was Matthew's birthday! We had his friend party the Saturday before and it was so much fun!!! Sunday was Mothers day! My husband made me some cinnamon waffles for b-fast and Jase made me a card and I got Wizard of Oz! We had Matthew's mom and sister with her fam over for a delicious dinner (if I do say so myself). Then Monday, on Matthew's actual Bday, we met with family for dinner at Olive Garden! MMMmmmmm
I have been busy with starting some new crafts which I will be selling in the near future! My cousin Deb is a fabulously creative gal and is designing my logo and business cards and such and I can't wait to get them and show them off! Right now, I am working on getting ready for Jase's 3rd birthday on Sunday (party on Saturday) and am making a cute banner and some cute pom pom decorations and superhero capes!
Anyways! Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure ;)

Harley

I LOVE this puppy! I must say that my (almost) 3 year old is becoming quite the photographer! I loaded this photo that I have never seen onto my computer yesterday and was super happy! This handsome boxer just makes me smile! He means the world to me! He is snuggly, playful and great with Jasers. I couldn't ask for a better companion. Love you Harley Barley!

Happy Easter!

We had such a fun Easter! It gets better and better the older Jase gets! Saturday morning Jase and I met Kim at the South Jordan Easter Egg Hunt at 9am. Jase & Mollie got to be in the same group and were the cutest little things! Jase would only pick up the licorice sticks and Mollie would only pick up the suckers! After that was over, we went the the 10am Herriman Park Easter Scramble where they got to get even more goodies!

Waitin in the car for Kimmie and the kids to meet us!

Jase giving Mollie loves!
After that, we went home and took a nap, okay, I took a nap and then Matthew joined me while Jase watched Iron Man cartoons on Daddy's computer. Then after we woke up and had lunch, Jase took a nap! Nice relaxing afternoon!
Decorating eggs was quite the event! Jase had to do everything himself and he did a pretty good job! Mama was actually the one to spill. Good thing bleach cleans stains off of a white counter top!
After the 'colors' were dry, Jase got to put silly faces on all his eggs. He was so proud!
These are our cute little Easter baskets! Matthew's is the choo choo basket, Jase the Spider man and mine is the boring one on the right ;) We each got a movie in our basket with lots of goodies (don't worry-I won't eat any of my goodies until I'm done with my diet)! I want to start Holiday traditions and Matthew said that Easter baskets go at the end of your bed so you can see them right when you wake up. I wasn't too thrilled with this b/c I wanted to see Jase's reaction when he first saw it but I gave in and it worked out cute. Jase came into our room in the morning without even noticing his basket but when we told him to go look for it we heard "SPIDER MAN"! He was super excited and, after about 5 minutes, finally came in to show us what he got!
Searching for the Easter Eggs that the bunny hid for him! Harley knocked one of the eggs off of the stairs and it cracked and Jase refused to put it in his basket after that!
Easter afternoon we went and saw How to Tame Your Dragon. We LoVeD it! It was such a cute show and Jase was yelling throughout the movie Pawtchin Pawtchin (his word for Dragon). On our way out of the movie, Jase saw the sign for Iron Man 2 and was so excited! It even had real lights on it! Silly boy!
For dinner, we went to Oma & Papa's house with my sis and her fam. (No, I didn't take any photos) Oma got the kids bubbles and kites and eggs filled with money!
We had such a great weekend and such a great Easter! Thanks to everyone that was a part of it!

Busy busy busy!

Sorry I haven't posted in so long! We have been super crazy busy, well, I have ;) Matthew was out of work for 2 1/2 weeks so we are still trying to re-cover from that. I'm still not prego but we are positive that it will happen soon! I also started the HCG diet! I'm doing really well and have not cheated once! I'm super proud of myself! I am down 10 lbs or so! Jase is doing awesome! He talks and talks and talks and mimics everything he hears! We just love it. He has been doing well with potty training. He is to the point now where he will yell POTTY when he needs to go but we are still having our accidents here and there. I'm sure we'll be fully trained (minus nighttime-tho he does stay dry during naps) by his 3rd Birthday on May 23rd (I know can you believe my baby will be 3!).
Feb & March: We had a superbowl party at our house....we went to the circus....visited the aquarium (FYI-nemo isn't as cool as sharks are now!)....we had several play dates with Jossy and Jaxon....we went to MyGym....got ice cream....went negative from lack of working and no pay.....made several trips to the target toy aisles....went to Aubrey's birthday party and Jacob's blessing....made lots of cake (mmm cake!)....dog and kitty sat for my parents while they were out of town....went to Bonsai....and here are just a few pics to catch you up!

Sitting in the toy section of Target trying to decide if he really does want the toy he picked out after roaming the aisles for at least 30 minutes.
Just when you think that you are so down in luck and that everything just sucks, you are reminded by a 'secret friend' (or 4) with all of your favorite things that you are loved to pieces! Thanks again you!
Enjoying some mac noodles with tomato sauce....so are his hippos!
Date with mama! Going to the circus!
Another date with mama! We went to the aquarium to see the sharks and then accidentally stopped by Baskin Robbins on the way home ;)
We LOVE free open plays at My Gym!
Playing squishy boy with daddy!
Snuggling with baby Got (apparently Got is easier to say than Jacob so that's what we call him now!)
Pretending to be asleep with Harley. This is is snoring out face ;)
Coloring with Papa! We like it when Papa comes to visit on his days off!
That's all folks! Hopefully it won't take me as long next time!
XOXO
