Oopsie!

Say "Oops, I forgot", mom! Is one of Jase's favorite sayings. For example, if he asks me for chocolate milk or breakfast and I tell him, just a second, he'll come back to me several minutes later and say "mom! say, oops, I forgot your chocat melk!". So I'll say that, and have to get up right away to do it! So..............
Oops! I forgot to blog!!! Sorry guys! I did pretty good for a while there if I do say so myself!
Here's what happened for us in March and now the beginning of April!

Jase likes to dance around saying "take a picture of me, mom"! He spins so much it makes me dizzy!
He is also working on some new moves. This one was a somersault. Boys got skillz!
Jase figured out a new way to block himself from the sun in addition to wearing daddy's sunglasses!
Jase climbed up the back of the couch and said "wets take a picture mom! Just you and me!"
That has become one of his 'things'. Just you and me. I love it! "Let's snuggle on the couch, just you and me". "Let's eat breakfast, just you and me". Okay buddy....sounds great!
We moved!!! We are out of our old house! We are now living with Jess & Jason-we have the basement all to ourselves. It is very nice and cozy! I love how much less time it takes to clean! I love that there aren't 2 levels of stairs between my craft room and the rest of the house so I don't feel so left out and lonely while I am sewing {though I've yet to do that!}. I love taking turns with Jess making dinner. I love that the kids get to play with each other every day, yet, when they aren't being friendly, we can stay in our separate areas. So...so far...so good!
This is our storage unit. 2/3rds of my life is currently in a 10x10 storage unit. I promise you, it was VERY organized before Matthew threw the mattress in there and I threw the extra boxes on top of that! LOL
The weekend we moved, Jase was not feeling well. He had a fever on/off for about 4 days. Poor kid. I felt so bad for him. He did so well the first night here! For several weeks, I got him really excited about moving here. Boxing up all his stuff and taking it with us! It was a very smooth transition. I am very impressed with my little bug :) I was laying on my side in this photo, with my body turned toward my computer on the right. Jase layed over me just to snuggle and then within 2 minutes, was fast asleep!
Jase and Jaxon have been doing pretty well together. They love being able to play with each other every day. They have lots of fun but can get pretty roudy and rough with each other. I have made a new rule that at the first hit, they cannot play together anymore. So Jax and Joss have to stay upstairs and we have to stay downstairs and can't play for a couple more hours. Jase and I have breakfast downstairs together (while Matthew is at work), lunch has been different everyday but Jase and I usually eat downstairs together for that too. Dinner has by far been the hardest though. The kids want to run around and play rather than sit still and eat so we are working on that one!
Jase loves it when aunt Kesska {that's what he calls her} does his hair. She usually gives him Sonic blue hedgehog hair {per his request-which is his normal spikey hair} but on this day, she slicked it down on the sides! It was so funny and so dang cute! He loved it! lol
Jase and I like snuggling on the couch to watch shows together, and we never miss a photo opportunity for ourselves ;) Yes, Jase is only wearing his underwear....it is his favorite thing to wear....all day long!
We went and visited Uncle Meetchole and Uncle Zak at their apartment. Jase found Zak's 'ginormous' Optimus Prime and Uncle Zak was nice enough to let him play with it. He was in heaven!
This little bug loves his tubbies! He takes different toys in with him every time and this time he chose transformers. Most of the time, when his tubby is done, he will put all his toys up on the sides of the tubby to 'clean them up'! I usually don't even need to ask him to do that! Good boy!
The other day, Jess and I took the kids to our friend Ambers house to have a play date with her kids Mason {not in the picture} and Jasmine. They had so much fun together! Jase instantly loved his new friends, especially Mason because he had the largest selection of Bakugans he had ever seen! He was so upset when we had to leave that he got ornery about it. We saw them the next day at the gym and Jase was so excited to see Mason! Jaxon said something to Jase about Mason and Jasmine being there and he responded with "it's my friends...but I wuv dem!" haha
We went to Red Mango after the gym and the kids all got up in the middle of the floor and starting dancing! It was so stinking cute! Jess took video of them dancing so they all had to watch it afterwards. Cute little mongs!
This was on the way home from Red Mango. Jase LOVED his fresh strawberry banana smoothie and his Grinch movie. Silly kid! {Yes, we watch christmas movies all year round!}.
So there you have it! That's the Browning life! Next up.....I start my new job on April 25th! I am so excited!

Cirque du Clearlink

Smokin hot photo eh?!!!!
Husband works for an incredible company which throws very extravagant parties! Their annual work party happens in March and this year it was Cirque du Soleil themed! How lucky were we to be able to get to go to this thing! It was crazy fun!
Everyone was asked to dress in their best clothes with crazy face make-up and/or masquerade masks! I have always wanted to go to a party where I could wear a masquerade mask and I finally got the chance! It was so much fun!!! There were performers everywhere doing crazy things and dancing around. We ate lots of pasta and cotton candy!
They even had a hypnotist {he was kinda creepy}! I am not quite sure that he was able to hypnotize any one of the 15 people that stampeded onto the stage, but it was sure hilarious to watch them all pretend!
It was great to finally be able to meet husbands friends that he talks about all the time! Since Jason works there too we were able to spend much of the night with him and Rella which made it that much better!
Can't wait until next year! I am not sure how they are going to top this one ;)

Thanks Ceason for doing my make-up and thanks Rellish for doing my hair!! Mwah!

Life Lessons

I saw Jase walk into the bathroom tonight to go potty and he had a very sad look on his face. I heard him kind of whimpering so I went in there to check on him. He told me that his mouth hurt. The last time he said that, he vomited shortly after. But maybe this time it's just a sore throat. Either way, I sat down on his little red stool and scooped him up to snuggle him. He about fell asleep in my arms there in the bathroom. I love my little man to pieces. It's moments like these, sick or not, that make me so grateful that I have the opportunity to be a mother.

I took him into his room and made a gesture to Matthew to follow {he knew that meant bedtime}. I rocked him in his chair for about a minute and asked if I could sing him a song. I got out maybe 4 words before I started to cry. Matthew asked me what was wrong and I told him that I couldn't stop thinking about Tawnya. He held my hand for a while as I rocked Jase and let the tears stream down my cheeks.

Tawnya is my sister in law {well, my sisters sister in law} and a very good friend to me. After 10 years of trying to conceive she was able to get pregnant. She was just over 19 weeks along and she had her baby today. They named him Anthony. God had a different plan for this little angels life.

I felt so selfish. As though I was taking life for granted. Matthew and I have been trying to grow our family for the past 2 years and I have been having such a hard time about the fact that it is just not happening. Yet here I was, holding my very own sweet boy whom I have been blessed with for the past {almost} 4 years when my dear friend was only able to be with her sweet blessing for just 4 hours. It's just not fair.

I have had 2 other sisters in law that have had the same experience {one still trying and one with 3 little boys}, a sister that needed IVF to conceive {successful on her second round with twins} and a sister that has had several miscarriages {who has given me 2 nieces and 2 nephews} and yet, for some reason, I feel doubly and emotionally effected by this. This beautiful woman does not deserve such heartbreak. None of my sisters do or did. No one does.
I cannot begin to understand what she or any of my sisters have gone through. I know that they are stronger women for it and I admire them so much.

I guess before {when my other sisters were going through this}, I wasn't at the point of having fertility issues {that I was aware of} so, although I was truly heartbroken for my family I wasn't quite understanding of the actual pain that they were going through with the loss of a child. I know that I cannot begin to understand what they did feel or what they may still be feeling but I do now understand that it is not so easy to hear the words "what's meant to be will be" and "when it's meant to happen, it will happen". I do know that it hurts, though, but that there is a purpose to everything even if we don't understand it.

I just want to let all of my sisters know that that they mean the world to me. I admire all of you for your strengths, your faith and your courage through the difficult times you've endured. I am so proud to be able to be a part of your lives.

I love you Kimberly, Jessica, Miranda, Michelle and Tawyna. With all of my heart.

Let's Get Physical!

.......and yes, I'm referring to working out! I have a gym membership to Golds. Do I use it? Nope. I have the Biggest Loser for Wii. Do I use it? Nope. I have Wii Fit. Do I use it? Nope. I have Zumba for PS3. Do I use it? Sometimes.
I like to work out. It makes me feel really good. It puts me in a fabulous mood and makes me feel very accomplished. I just cannot seem to get myself to do it! It is so hard to go the gym by myself. I feel like a total nerd when I'm doing free weights all alone in front of the gym mirrors-especially when I'm surrounded by boys because I refuse to use the 'womens area'.
I used to have a gym buddy and we went to the gym 3-4 days per week, every week. Then she got too prego to work out and then I was too prego to work out. That was my excuse anyways b/c I didn't want to go on my own.
Jase is almost 4 now {yep, my little bug is almost 4!!} and I weigh about as much as I did when I was 8 months prego with him. I'm very unhappy about it {yep, I hate my body-except for my boobs hehe-but doesn't every girl hate her body or at least parts of it?!} yet I am too lazy to do anything about it. I have no excuse whatsoever. I have an hour during the day to go-I don't have a job right now so it's not like I can't make the time. Lately, we have been so lucky as to have a second car to drive around {just for the time being} so I can easily go during the day and put Jase in the daycare {which, btw, the one at golds is not nearly as fun as the one at Lifetime that we tested out with a free trial one time and Jase knows it!}, but I just cannot get myself to go! I love doing my Zumba at home but when I'm home, all I wanna do is clean my house, take care of my bug and play on my computer {oh and sew too!}.
I made a goal this week to do Zumba Mon-Fri as well as some tummy crunches. I am also trying to drink more water {since I hardly drink any at all} and not snack as much-which is a little easier since I haven't been to the store in a while!
Anyone out there wanna give me advice or a little extra push? Be my gym buddy? Even if you need to tell me that you have noticed that I've gained some extra pounds and that I should really do something about it because I'm starting to look like I'm pregnant again {which I'm not}.
I'll take any type of oomph to get me going ;)

xoxo

Snuggle Bugs

I've been staring at my computer screen trying to come up with a post to put to this picture and I just can't find the words. This little bug and this little woo {harley} just make me so happy. No matter how busy I am or how tired I am or how messy my house is or how crazy I go sometimes when Jase doesn't want to listen or how stressed I am about money or baby stuff, these two completely brighten my day. Especially when they snuggle like this.
I just simply love them....and that's all I have to say about that ;)
