We went to Idaho this last weekend. I LOVE going up there. It is just so relaxing and stress free. We try to go up at least 4 times a year {plus 1 trip to the cabin} to visit husbands Dad and step Mom. Great Grandpa Rex and Uncle Zak live there too so that makes it even better!
We weren't able to go up for Christmas 2010 b/c they were up in Boise with husbands step Sister who had just had a baby so we went in January instead :) Jess, myself and the 3 kiddos drove up Thursday morning for an extra day of fun. Friday, our step Sis, Michelle, invited us to drive 2 extra hours to Meridian to spend the day with her, her 2 older kids and her new baby! The kids had so much fun playing! There was Rex, 6, Sam, Jase, Joss & Jax who are all 3 and baby Oliver who is about 6 weeks. We went to a fun indoor play land and then came home for a bit until Uncle Mark got home to watch 5 of the kiddos while us girls and baby Oliver went out for Thai food! We got home to Dad and Care's at about 9:30. The husbands and Mitchy were there by then. Saturday, the boys all went shooting and us girls, Jase and Jax went to Grandma's museum to get some toys and watch a Dinosaur show. Then we all hung out that night and watched some TV. Us girls gave ourselves facials and then Jess treated us all to some oils {which included mini foot and neck rubs!}. Sunday morning we all packed up and then said goodbye that afternoon.
It was a great weekend and we all had such a great time! Thanks for having us Dad and Care and thanks to Mark & Michelle for inviting us to play as well!
