BBQ!

Matthew and I love our new Grill (thanks mom and dad) so we want to use it as much as possible this summer-not to mention the fact that my hubby needs/likes the practice! We invited Mitch, AJ, Britt & Jameson, Drew, Randi & Skyler and BJ, Jessica & Ty for a rainy BBQ! It was so much fun! Matthew was so excited to see his boys and it was awesome seeing them with their own boys all snuggling together! The 4 little boys played pretty well together (except the occiasional issues Jase had with sharing Skyler's own toys with him!). Thanks so much for coming to play guys! We can't wait for the next get together!

HaPpY AnNiVeRsArY!

My wonderful husband and I have been married for 4 years now!!! It seems like a lot longer than that but if you consider we've been together for 7 years, I guess it has been a long time! On our very first date, Matthew came and picked me up in his sisters Xterra and we went to Giovanni's (an Italian restaurant) and then to the movies! I wanted to re-create our first date for our Anniversary but since Giovanni's is no longer in business, I had to get creative! We went and dropped Jase off at my sister's house and then drove to get take out from Olive Garden! Matthew was so confused that we weren't just eating there! I ended up driving to the parking lot of Giovanni's (luckily the building is still there) and we had a picnic in the back of our Armada! It was delicious and Matthew though it was a really good idea and was jealous he hadn't thought of it before! We went and saw Angels and Deamons!! I loved it!!! It is a super good movie, even if you have read the book. I recommend it to everyone!! After that, we went and picked up Jase and headed home.

New Unders!

I bought these for Jase a week or so ago and he was so excited! I finally put them on him the other day and he loved them so much that he had to put on 2 more pair at the same time! He couldn't decide if he wanted Buzz or Lightning McQueen so he just chose both! He put them on his arms, like sleeves, and on his head too! So funny! We're getting closer to actually start training him-some days he seems interested and some days he doesn't so we'll just have to wait for now!

Jase's cousins, Zach & Aubrey, play soccer every Saturday and we love going to watch them play! Jase loves being outside and he often yells at them to Go Go Go! He claps for them too! It is the cutest thing to watch! I can't wait until he's old enough to play football so his daddy can be his coach! Zach will go after the ball if it comes to him and he'll run around with the group. Aubrey is always right where the ball is trying to kick it each chance she gets and she is a super fast runner! Way to go guys!
